Please read this disclaimer carefully. It explains what Novuo Immigration Services is, what we do, and — just as importantly — what we do not do.

Novuo Immigration Services is an independent private immigration consultancy. We are not a government agency and we are not a law firm. This page sets out the scope and limits of the services we provide and clarifies the relationship between our guidance, official Irish immigration processes and regulated legal advice.

01.Independent private consultancy

Novuo Immigration Services is a privately owned Irish immigration consultancy. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, appointed by, or acting on behalf of:

  • The Government of Ireland;
  • Immigration Service Delivery (ISD);
  • The Department of Justice;
  • The Department of Foreign Affairs;
  • An Garda Síochána or the Garda National Immigration Bureau (GNIB);
  • Any Irish embassy, consulate or visa office; or
  • Any other public authority or statutory body in Ireland or abroad.

Any reference on this website to government departments, official schemes or immigration categories is for descriptive and informational purposes only and does not imply any endorsement or partnership. Official information is published at irishimmigration.ie and dfa.ie.

02.We are not a law firm

Novuo Immigration Services is not a firm of solicitors or barristers and is not regulated by the Legal Services Regulatory Authority (LSRA) or the Law Society of Ireland. We do not provide legal representation and do not carry out any activity reserved by law to practising solicitors or barristers, including but not limited to:

  • Providing legal advice or a formal legal opinion;
  • Representing clients in court, before a tribunal or in judicial review proceedings;
  • Drafting or certifying legal documents that must be prepared by a solicitor;
  • Acting as your legal representative in dealings with any public authority.

Where a matter requires regulated legal advice or legal representation — for example, an appeal, judicial review, deportation proceedings, or a complex citizenship, refugee or protection matter — we will say so, and we recommend that you instruct an appropriately qualified Irish solicitor or barrister.

03.What we do

Our consultancy service is limited to practical, non-legal immigration support, including:

  • Assessing your eligibility under published Irish immigration routes and schemes;
  • Explaining the requirements, documentation and typical processing steps of a route;
  • Helping you plan and prepare a well-organised application file;
  • Reviewing supporting documents for completeness and consistency with published requirements;
  • Preparing cover letters and personal statements based on the information you provide;
  • Coordinating timelines, appointments and follow-up communications;
  • Providing general written guidance and consultation calls in relation to your immigration plan.

04.What we don't do

To keep the scope of our service transparent, we do not:

  • Provide legal advice, legal opinions or legal representation;
  • Guarantee any visa, permission, residence, employment permit or citizenship outcome;
  • Influence, expedite or communicate on your behalf with government decision-makers beyond routine correspondence;
  • Issue, refuse, extend or renew any immigration permission — those decisions rest solely with the relevant Irish authorities;
  • Offer tax, financial, medical or investment advice;
  • Provide services in respect of jurisdictions or immigration systems other than Ireland (unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing).

05.General guidance, not legal advice

Information on this website — including guides, articles, FAQs, checklists and blog posts — is provided for general information and guidance purposes only. It does not constitute legal advice, is not a substitute for regulated legal advice and should not be relied on as the sole basis for any immigration decision.

Irish immigration law, policy and processing practice change frequently. We take reasonable care to keep our content accurate, but we do not warrant that it is current, complete or applicable to your individual circumstances. Any advice specific to your case is provided only through a paid consultation or a signed engagement, and only on the facts and documents you disclose to us.

06.Immigration decisions and outcomes

All immigration decisions — including the grant, refusal, extension, variation or revocation of any visa, entry permission, residence permission, employment permit, travel document, naturalisation or citizenship — are made solely by the relevant Irish authorities, applying their own criteria and discretion.

No immigration outcome or approval can ever be guaranteed, by us or by anyone else. Any timelines, likelihoods or indicative assessments we share are estimates based on published information and our professional experience; they are not a promise of a particular result.

07.Our fees vs. government fees

Fees quoted for consultations, application support or ongoing case work are professional fees payable to Novuo Immigration Services only.

Government application fees, visa fees, biometric fees, permit fees, registration fees, translation, notarisation, courier and other third-party charges are separate and are payable directly by you to the relevant authority or provider, unless a written engagement letter expressly states otherwise.

09.No solicitor–client relationship

Using this website, contacting us, submitting an enquiry, requesting an eligibility assessment or booking a consultation does not create a solicitor–client relationship. A consultancy engagement with Novuo Immigration Services begins only when we have issued, and you have accepted, a written engagement letter or booking confirmation setting out the scope, fees and terms.

10.Third-party content and links

This website may link to third-party websites (including official government sites) for your convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability or privacy practices of any third-party site. Inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement.

11.Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Irish law, Novuo Immigration Services accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from reliance on general information published on this website. Our liability in respect of paid consultancy services is governed by our Terms & Conditions. Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
